Preparing For Your Child’s
Individual Education Plan

The IEP process can be a daunting experience for parents concerned about their child having a good school year. After all, the school personnel are the experts, right? Well, so are you when it comes to knowing your child.
This workshop will address the following questions:

• What is an Individual Education Plan (IEP)?
• Who requires an IEP?
• Who develops the IEP?
• What is the process for IEP development?
• What are the main components of an IEP?

There will be time for folks to share and learn from the experiences of other parents. Come and learn more about how to contribute toward the creation of an effective working document that leads to important measurable gains for your child.
