MDSS Family Sleigh Ride
Join us Sunday December 14th for the Annual MDSS Family Sleigh Ride at Birds Hill Park Ranch!
Riding along with family and friends among the aspen and oak trees of the Boreal forest, listening to the sleigh runners gliding through the twinkling snow, the jingling of the bells on the horses’ harnesses, and catching glimpses of local deer and other forest wildlife makes for a very delightful and heartwarming experience.

TIME: Sleigh Ride starts at 1:00 PM SHARP!

TICKET PRICING:
Individuals with Down syndrome: FREE
Members: $5
Non-Members: $7

*We have limited availability, and registration operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early to ensure your spot!
Please arrive by 12:45 PM to board as the sleighs “can’t hold their horses”. The sleighs leave at 1PM sharp and cannot wait for latecomers. The ride is approximately 45 mins – 1 hr in duration. *Dress accordingly for the weather.*
NOTE: The sleigh ride will include a round trip from the ranch centre and back. There is no bonfire this year. Following the sleigh ride back at the ranch, before going on your way, stop by the ranch restaurant to warm up with friends and purchase a hot dog and drink for $7.50.
After Sleigh Ride Suggestions (not affiliated with the MDSS):Birds Hill Provincial Park offers many other fun outdoor activities families can enjoy, including walking/hiking trails, tobogganing at Pope’s Hill, and Pine Ridge Hollow located close by. Pack your snowsuits and sleds before you head out and make a day of it.
