Join the Manitoba Down Syndrome Society for an insightful evening with Suzanne Swanton, Executive Director of Continuity Care. This presentation will provide valuable information on Continuity Care’s services and the comprehensive support they offer for Manitoba families with a member who has an intellectual disability. Suzanne will walk us through essential topics for planning a secure future, including legal planning and decision-making, financial tools, formal and informal support systems, and navigating key life transitions, such as moving from childhood to adulthood.
Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session where attendees can engage with Suzanne and gain further insights.
About the Speaker: Suzanne Swanton has dedicated over three decades to the disability sector, with 18 years as the Executive Director of Continuity Care. As a Social Worker, Suzanne has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities and their families across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, helping families achieve an enriched quality of life for their loved ones. Her experience and expertise make her a trusted voice in future planning for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
