Walk With Us in on SEPTEMBER 27,2020

Rain or shine the walk will go on……no WAIT!  Things look a little different this year.  Even though COVID is keeping us apart, MDSS will still hold its only annual fundraiser VIRTUALLY.

Get your teams together (big or small) and get ready to upload pictures and videos that will be posted online Sunday September 27th.  Walking can be in your living room, backyard, around the block or wherever/however creative you can be!

You can start NOW!  Go to the MDSS Walk With Us website and create your online team.  Pledging can begin as usual.  On ‘walk’ day, use the hashtag #MDSSVIRTUALWALK and upload your pictures and videos to your favorite media platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc).  As we are respecting social distancing, members on a team can be near or far from each other.  Family and friends from anywhere in the world can “walk” with your team.  They can upload pictures and video using the hashtags #MDSSVIRTUALWALK  and #MDSSVIRTUALWALK(team name).

There will be prizes for most funds raised, most creative team and for the first time this year a prize for the team with the walker who is FURTHEST from Winnipeg (or wherever in Manitoba your team is from).

**There will be neither a silent auction this year nor a 50/50 draw.
