Join us online on November 4, 2025, for the 2025 See Me Beautiful Conference — a powerful day of connection, learning, and celebration. This gathering brings together self-advocates, families, and educators to share stories, spark inspiration, and champion the voices of those we know and love with Down syndrome, with the goal of building stronger school-family partnerships.
Our presenters will include:
- Katie Jameson from Outside Pin Consulting, sharing her family’s story and how mindset has shaped their ongoing journey through the education system.
- Angela Taylor from Supporting Community Together, guiding us through a compassion-centered conversation about what behavior is really trying to tell us—and how we can listen.
- Lindsey Sharp, Speech Language Pathologist from Louis Riel School Division, offering insights into communication and literacy for all learners.
- Self-advocate Makayla Grabowski, alongside parents Adam and Marina, sharing their lived experience navigating the education system as a Manitoban family.
Get ready for a day filled with inspiring stories, powerful advocacy, and meaningful connections as we celebrate and uplift incredible voices within the Down syndrome community.
