“On Sunday December 1st , 2019 the MDSS family committee hosted our first (annual) winter sleigh ride. There were 58 people who purchased tickets. 46 people showed up at approx. 3:45PM we boarded the 3 horse drawn sleighs at 4:00 pm. After a few pictures off we went. Dashing through the snow, in a two horse open sleigh through Birds Hill Park. It was a bit chilly but so so beautiful. Carols were sung and the event ended at a big bon fire in the bush where we ate hot dogs, roasted marshmallows and drank hot chocolate.
