To our beloved MDSS Members,
I hope you are all doing well!
Life is busy for all of us for different reasons and this year is no different and it came with a unique set of challenges. This year has reminded me that life was once much simpler and it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, we have just gotten so used to having so much more to do that we naturally miss them.
I, like most of you, have missed seeing our MDSS members and hosting the wonderful events that we have become so accustomed to hosting. Instead of looking back on this last year with sadness, I choose to look forward to next year and all of the great things that we are planning for our members, with excitement and anticipation.
As a parent of a child with Down syndrome we focus a lot on milestones and next year the Manitoba Down syndrome Society will be reaching such an amazing milestone itself.
On behalf of the MDSS Board and myself, we wish all of our MDSS Members a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Cheers to an amazing 2021!
