My name is Ruth Joseph. I am the last person in the banner above! I have always wanted to do a fundraiser for the Canadian Down Syndrome Society publication, the Voices magazine. My mother helped me organize the Applebee’s Breakfast Fundraiser.
On Sunday December 14, 2014, 73 people gathered at Applebee’s on Regent for a pancake breakfast. We all enjoyed pancakes, bacon, and coffee, tea and juice. There was also lots of fun and fellowship.
I would like to thank Suzanne Fast, Becky Fehr, Nick Cauthers, and Matthew Dobson for being excellent servers.
I would also like to thank my brother Noah Joseph for helping to serve, and Olivia and Dave Hawrysh for helping as well.
I would like to thank Dianne Minion for her generous donation of Archery coupons.
I would also like to thank all the people that attended the breakfast which made it a great success. This amazing event raised $818 for VATTA.
